DAMASCUS, SYRIA OCTOBER 24, 2009 EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

It is known that on October 24th , 2009, the World Peace Council issued a Resolution to hold every August 8th, as the International Day for the peace loving people through out the world to demonstrate their solidarity with the victims of Agent Orange in Vietnam, we are very much moved by and deeply thankful for this noble and precious action.

The Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange / Dioxin in Vietnam (VAVA) established on December 17th, 2003 has so far been a social and mass organization of nationwide scale to represent the interests and aspirations of our three million victims Agent Orange in Vietnam

During the past six years, this association has been always imbued with a sense that the struggle for justice in order to overcome the devilish consequences of toxic chemicals sprayed by the U.S. in Vietnam from 1961 to 1971 is an integral part of the struggle to protect our universal peace in general - a real peace, a peace without containing any seed from which grows up other war crimes in the future if those who sowed atrocities would not be liable for their misconducts

As a member of the Vietnam Peace Committee, we hope that victims of Agent Orange Vietnam will continue to enjoy further support and help from the World Peace Council and peace – justice loving people through out the world.

Sincerely Yours. /.
